how to be more confident

Hey guys! Todays post is going to be all about confidence! Confidence is something we all deal with, and I am here to tell you that no matter what you are beautiful in your own unique way:)

 

1. A Compliment A Day

One thing that is so important to help boost your confidence is by complimenting yourself everyday. Look in the mirror and find one thing about yourself that you like, whether its your outfit, your eyes, your hair, etc. Its such an easy step but its such a confidence booster.

 

2. No Negativity

One thing that even I struggle with is negative talk. By this I mean I always talk myself down, even if its in the smallest way! For example, I always say "I hate my hair today" or "my skin is so bad right now". Honestly, reminding yourself of something that is bothering you definitely doesn't help how you feel about the situation and it also brings attention to it. There have been so many times where something about myself will be bothering me and no one notices until I start talking about it. So negative talk isn't helping anyone especially not you!

 

3. Eat Clean

Eating clean not only helps you feel better on the inside, it also helps you look better on the outside! There are so many benefits to eating healthy such as clearer skin, a healthier you, more energy, etc! 

 

4. Exercise

Working out is beneficial for your physique and your mentality. Working out not only will give you a healthier body but it also is great for your mentality. By working out, your brain releases chemical endorphins, which make you happier! 

 

5. Dress to Impress...Yourself!

Wearing whatever is trending is not always the best thing for you, wear whatever you feel most comfortable in always! If you don't feel comfortable in your outfit, then you will constantly be thinking about it and that obviously can't be good for your confidence. Always choose clothing that you feel confident and beautiful in, not just whats trending right now!

 

6. H20

Drinking water is overall better for you and is so helpful in making you feel your best. Water helps your skin, your energy levels and helps flush out toxins from your body. 

 

7. Stand Straight

Fixing your posture makes you look so much more confident and approachable! This one is something that I always struggle with, so lately I've been using this product called the "Upright Go" and its so helpful! I got mine from Amazon and its been such a great tool to correct my posture (by the way totally not sponsored I actually use this product!). 

 

8. Smile Often

If you always have a smile on your face, you will feel so much happier! Its a great way to feel better instantly and it makes you look more attractive, because we all know your smile is definitely your best feature!
